Privacy Policy
Update Conflict Checker uses an external API hosted on Supabase (supabase.com) to check plugin compatibility against a crowdsourced conflict database. This is necessary to provide pre-update conflict warnings.
Data transmitted during compatibility checks
- Plugin slugs and version numbers
- WordPress version
- PHP version
Data NOT transmitted
- Site URLs, domain names, or IP addresses
- Personal information (names, emails, passwords)
- Page content, posts, or media
- User accounts or visitor data
Community telemetry (opt-in only)
If enabled in Settings, anonymized reports of update outcomes are sent to improve the conflict database. These reports contain only plugin slugs, version numbers, and a SHA256 hash of the site URL (which cannot be reversed to identify the actual URL). Telemetry is disabled by default and can be toggled off at any time.
Local data
Health monitoring data (PHP errors, response times, health scores) and rollback snapshots are stored locally in your WordPress database and on your server. This data is never sent externally.
